An Ode to a Friend

Priscilla

By Shamim Khan

In Paris, where the Seine's gentle flow,

Lives Priscilla, a beauty in the City of Light's warm glow,

With eyes that sparkle like the Eiffel Tower's nightly show,

She's a wanderer of the world, wherever her heart may go.

In the heart of Paris, she calls her home,

But her spirit roams where the wild winds roam,

For Priscilla loves the outdoors, where she'll freely roam,

Where nature's beauty is her muse, her heart's true home.

Amidst the beauty of nature and her worldly quest,

Her fashion-forward flair truly stands out as the best,

From haute couture to street style, she's always dressed,

A living work of art, her outfits are a fashionista's zest.

With each dawn, she greets the world in Vogue,

In the Jardin des Tuileries, her fashion dreams unfold,

Amongst the roses and sunflowers, she's a sight to behold,

A Parisian fashionista, confident and bold.

She's a traveler with a suitcase full of style,

From Milan to New York, she walks the fashion aisle,

In Parisian cafes or down Venice's Grand Canal,

Her elegance and grace make every moment worthwhile.

In the heart of Paris, she tastes the world's delight,

From quaint bistros to starlit dining under the night,

She savors exquisite cuisines, a culinary flight,

Each dish, a memory, a symphony of taste and sight.

Yet, in her heart, Fiji's paradise remains,

A homeland of beauty, where her soul retains,

The azure waters and white sandy plains,

A love that forever in her heart remains.

Priscilla, in Paris, a worldly dreamer's grace,

With love for nature, and a heart's embrace,

In each new destination's thrilling chase,

She finds her home in the beauty of every place.

In the City of Light or Fiji's sunny shore,

Her heart's an explorer, seeking evermore,

A girl named Priscilla, adventure at her core,

A love for the world, she'll forever adore.
